I’m Graeme, a leader at the group. Here at Central Ribbleton they have welcomed me whole heartedly and every young person is welcome to experience many adventures, learn life skills and have a fun time. My experience is in various aspects of scouting like outdoors, climbing, fitness  and help to put our fantastic programme together. We’re driven as a group to serve the community of Preston and provide the young people with an array of different opportunities to participate in and create new friendships.

I started my Scouting journey at Central Ribbleton as a beaver and continued through all the sections until becoming a leader.

My favourite parts of scouting are bushcraft and camping.

Being a leader I get to share the skills I have learnt during my time in scouting whilst constantly learning new ones

I'm Tom and I've been part of scouting for a little over 33 years, joining as a Beaver in Cheshire and working my way north to Preston.

I'm a keen outdoorsperson and when not scouting I work teaching skills to young people including archery, bushcraft, survival and aborology (Tree Science)
